Hey boys, even though you'll probably wait until the last minute to get her Valentine's day gift in order, it doesn't have to look like it! Just imagine the look on her face when she opens a handmade, personalized M-ink card this February 14! She'll think you've been planning for weeks! I’ve been wrestling with this separation of me as me and me as M-ink and how to cover it all, but really, they’re one in the same. M-ink is an incredibly personal venture; I am the brand, and you’ll find that thread throughout the website, my blog and my other social media outlets (Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter). 

The name comes from the timing. The idea for my own line of greeting cards was born shortly after my wedding, upon which I took on a new last name...Miller. 

Miller replaced Hand (my maiden name) in 2010, and is preceded by Amy Jo. I wouldn’t say Amy Jo Miller is much different than Amy Jo Hand was as I had been dating my now husband for just over nine years when we finally tied the knot. So, not much changed – aside from some new bling of course! 

We bought a house in the middle of nowhere that also happens to be in the middle of everything just a year and a half after the wedding, and are busy making it our own. And by “our,” I mean myself, the hubs, and our two kitties, Stella Marie and Phoebe Jean – for now. There’s also this bump on my belly that’s growing another occupant scheduled to arrive in February. 

In addition to a wife with room to grow and mommy-to-be, I’m a copywriter/creative manager for a university in northern Colorado by day, and kitchen novice, housecleaner extraordinaire, God’s student, Crossfitter, and scrappin’fool the rest of the time – not to mention the M behind the ink. 

I wanted to create something that would be a piece of me out in the world. Something that I could become known for. Something that allowed me to share my inspiration and creativity with all of you!

I write for a living and decided I missed writing for fun; I love to scrapbook, so from there, it all just fell into place.

M-ink is a unique, handmade line of greeting cards and invitations. You won't find any Hallmark fluff here; just simple, honest, authentic words (with the occasional punctuation for pop), adorned in an embellished card.
